As Chief of Staff of the Maritime Industrial Base (MIB), Mr. Nowicki was responsible for the direction and operations of a staff of over 100 civilian and contractor personnel, applying exceptional executive managerial skills and expertise in program, resource, budgeting, administration, and operations for optimal efficiency.
Stephen Nowicki’s keen problem-solving ability as Director of Budget and Financial Management under Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition) earned him a DoN Meritorious Civilian Service award in recognition and appreciation of the high value and benefit of his expertise.
